This one-day event was organized by ARMACAD on the occasion of the “Language Day” established by European Council and EU in 2001. It was open to the public free of charge and offered a variety of information on language study opportunities. Only 4 organizations were participating and AVC was one of them. The other three were the British Council, DAAD and Alliance Francaise D’Armenie.

The opening was done by the Rector of the French University Mrs. Joelle Le Morzellec. The event was honored by the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Head of the European Commission Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger, and the Ambassador of France to Armenia Serj Smesov, the Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia Charlz Lonsdail as well as the ambassador of Germany to RA Hans Johan Schmidt.
