On June 3, 2015, students at the AGBU Sofia Hayler Sunday School received AVC certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the academic year 2014/2015. Having joined AVC since the winter of 2014, Hayler is among the many schools and communities worldwide benefiting from the unique opportunity of hybrid (blended) learning in Armenian Studies made possible by AVC. Twenty students, who had enrolled in the Eastern Armenian course, appreciated the multimedia lessons and the possibility to learn their mother tongue through the use of e-Learning technology and cutting-edge methodology. AVC Academic Director Dr. Hasmik Khalapyan and Hybrid Education Program Coordinator Arpine Tavakalyan congratulated the AGBU Sofia Hayler Sunday School students on their successful completion, and expressed AVC’s pride in their achievements. More and more schools and community centers around the world are joining the AVC network for the Hybrid Education Program in order to benefit from the best of both onsite and online education.
