On March 23, 2016, the AGBU Armenian Virtual College was invited by the Armenian Chess Academy to present its online chess program to the delegates from Belarus. The guests were visiting Armenia to become familiar with the Armenian expertise in teaching chess in traditional day-schools and online. AVC Online Chess Instructor Vahagn Kalantaryan and AVC Education Program Coordinator Marina Khachaturyan presented AVC’s Online Chess Program. They showcased its contemporary online tools and resources and displayed the various features of the program that make the e-learning process enjoyable and easy. Within an interactive format, the guests were asked to solve chess problems and puzzles to get a practical view of the advantages that online learning presents. The delegates discussed the possibilities of collaboration with AVC within the school’s Online Chess Program.
