Following the resumed aggression of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) this April, the AGBU Armenian Virtual Collage organized a virtual tour to Artsakh for its students and alumni. Entitled "ArtsakhStrong: A Tour through Karabakh’s Historical Past and Present", the event aimed at familiarizing the students with highlights about the history and culture of the region, and answering the questions they might have about the dispute.
The tour was rich with videos and picture that were able to pass through the computer screens the rich history and culture, and marvelous landscapes and architecture of the region. The participants were fascinated by what they learnt, “It is a joy to see our homeland Artsakh, to learn its holy history and ancient heritage,” said Fr. Abraham, an AVC alumnus and hybrid onsite teacher. Another student, Parsa Zarrin reacted: “Thanks to AVC I understand and appreciated the hard work of keeping one of the greatest treasures of human kind – Artsakh, alive.”
