This year AGBU Armenian Virtual College was among the Armenian projects displayed at Strada Armeneasca Festival of Romanian Armenians. Held between August 7 to 9 on the Armenian Street in Bucharest, Romania, for the third time since its foundation, AVC was displayed in the calligraphy booth along where the Armenian Alphabet. The showcase of the Armenian letters and the ancient Armenian calligraphy arts was followed by interpretation of contemporary offerings and technological solutions through which AVC made Armenian education accessible anywhere and to anyone. The festival attracted thousands of local people, Armenians and foreigners from all over the world. Many visitors approached the booth to learn about the AVC Multimedia eBook Series. Hasmig Danielian and Luiza Tanasie did a tremendous work in describing the ways in which the e-publication added to the development of Armenian Studies as a field of inquiry. Apart from public display, a presentation dedicated to the AVC mission and achievements was held on August 8 during which AVC programs and projects were showcased in a more extensive and detailed manner.
